Cape May
Cape May is a charming seaside resort on the Jersey Shore, and voted the ninth best beach in the world in TripAdvisor's 2011 Travelers' Choice Beaches Awards. Visitors partake in an array of leisure and recreational activities, including biking, swimming and kayaking. Visitors can also see the Cape May Lighthouse, which was built in 1859, or take a whale- and dolphin-watching boat trip. Because Cape May is home to one of the largest commercial fishing ports in the United States, the area restaurants serve a multitude of fresh seafood dishes.
